The Bellaire Coin Club, is a local non-profit organization in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area which provides a forum to learn about rare coins and currency, develop relationships with other collectors, and to participate in a twice monthly educational program and a member coin auction. We also sponsor the annual Bellaire Coin Show the first weekend in August each year, participate in celebration of National Coin Week with other area coin clubs each spring, and are active members of the American Numismatic Association and the Texas Numismatic Association.
The club meets the first and third Monday’s of each month at 6:30 p.m., at the Bellaire Library, 5111 Jessamine, in Bellaire (a community wholly within the incorporated city limits of Houston, Texas). Each meeting will feature an educational program and a member coin auction. Auction lots are available for preview at 6:15 p.m. on meeting nights. The coin auction format is a wonderful way for collectors and dealers to buy and sell old and sometimes rare coins among themselves. The club receives no fee or commission of any kind at the auctions, as it it conducted solely for the benefit of our members and their guests.
